Top 5 Horror Games for 2017! Our Most Anticipated
Welcome to QueueTimes Countdown! This time around we will be looking at the top 5 Horror Games we are looking forward to seeing in 2017! So lets go!
#5 Days Gone
Whats a Biker to do in a post apocalyptic zombie filled world? Oh yeah kill everything! This PS4 Exclusive puts you in the gritty dirty world where you can apparently put an oil filter on the end of a pistol and make it a silencer? But really this amazing looking zombie shooter really makes you feel like it is you VS the whole world of zombies! No Official release as of yet but are still really amped about this game
This SciFi Horror game puts you in a fallen utopia where something has broken out and you need to stop it. After being awoken by a mysterious woman you equip a high tech suit and hack, slash or shoot your way through fallen foes to find the root of the problem. This PC only release will be out February 2017
#3 Friday the 13th
This 1v5 Slasher was originally kickstarted to release at the end of 2016 but got pushed back to early 2017. With the release date being pushed back Developers Gun Media and illfonic is going to throw in a solo play mode that was originally a stretch goal that didn’t hit its mark. In Friday the 13th you can either Jason who is attempting to kill the other 5 players before the police show up or a group of 5 teens doing whatever they can do to get away. Can you survive? You will be able to kill or be killed on PS4 Xbone and of course PC.
#2 Resident Evil 7
This old dog looks like it has learned a new trick. This time around they have added on a whole huge layer of creep instead of its more recent over to top rendition as of late. This Capcom Developed Survival Horror game has my skin crawling just by the trailers not to mention the playable demo. We will be seeing this bad boy January 24 and trust me we are counting down the days to get our grubby little hands on this. You will see this on PS4 Xbone and PC but the biggest gripe we have and what kept it from the #1 spot is the fact the Capcom developed this for VR and has a time exclusive for PSVR for 1 year making it a PC release a little weak. This is a huge oversight. good thing there are great programs out there that will let us still enjoy RE7 in VR on PC before 2018.
#1 OutLast II
Outlast has left the confines of the abandoned mental institute and has taken a creepy religious turn. This Sequel looks to surpass both outlast and whistle blower. Prepare to be scared out of your mind by another awesome Red barrel studio Survival horror game. They have released a playable demo and it has already scared the pants off of a ton of people. Not only has they made us scream with a jump scare but they mastered keep us on our toes from start to finish. You will be seeing this on PS4 Xbone as well as MAC and PC some time in 2017.
Honorable mentions: DayMare, Last of us 2, Visage
