This Weekend in Movies February 26th
Set in Egypt, Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) tries to fight the Egyptian god of darkness Set (Gerard Butler) but is defeated and Set steals the throne of the Egyptian empire and enslaves its people. Ben (Brenton Thwaites) a mortal teen must become allies with Horus to save Egypt and win back the throne. This movie looks ok but there was a huge uproar regarding the cast not actually being Egyptian. I think its just another thing for people to complain about but I won’t get started on that. Hopefully its an enjoyable film and not to horrible.

Following a group of criminals and crooked cops who are blackmailed by the Russian Mafia and must pull off an extremely challenging heist. In order for them to pull it off they have to distract all cops by killing a rookie cop, Chris Allen (Casey Affleck). Although the plan goes smoothly, Chris survives and tries bringing down the criminals that tried to kill him. Im completely on board for this film because the cast is amazing plus Norman Reedus who I absolutely love is in this film so ya I’ll be there to see it.
