Starcraft’s Newest Co-Op Commander is a Double feature : Mira Han and Matt Horner!
Starcraft’s Newest Co-Op mission commander is noone else but the outlaw Mira Han and her reluctant husband Matt Horner. Mira’s toolkit is all about high speed, reckless abandon, throwing units into the fray, while Matt provides the might of the Dominion airfleet to cover the skies.
While the battlefield may seem like an odd place to engage in couple’s therapy, it seems like they may have common ground in terms of military command, with their strengths and weaknesses protected by the other.
Mira han’s unit’s are fast, strong, but unfortunately fragile. Her salvage ability allows her side to gain back some of the materials used to make that unit once it has been destroyed, via picking up the resources off the unit’s corpse (if they can reach it). She can also upgrade her units strategically, allowing her to change her units to suit the flow of current combat. Her Spaceport units are her unique unit, allowing her to produce reinforcements such as automated drones to hold down an area.
Her specials are Magnetic Mines and Space Station Allocation. Magnetic mines can be placed in an area to surprise the enemy and cover defensive areas, while the Space station ability allows her to literally hurl down a space station from orbit, obliterating anything in it’s landing zone!
Matt Horner is thankfully much more level headed in his approach, favouring strategic strikes, dealing bonus damage to structures, and work wel with his enhanced raven units. His ultimate special move is an Orbital Strike, calling in the dominion fleet for a bombing run, laying waste to anything in the highlighted area.
While it may seem unusual to work with two commanders instead of one at a time, Mira and Matt compliment eachother nicely, with Mira’s guns blazing style distracting the enemy, whilst Matt takes out key points in the enemy lines.
