San Diego Comic Con: Monsters and My Little Pony
So, today was interesting to say the least… due to some very strange events I ended up in some booths that I didn’t really plan on. That being said, it didn’t make today boring.
First thing this morning we walked around and found a really cool booth, Monster Scouts. Monster Scouts is a community of awesome nerds who like to dabble in the spooky. This husband-wife team have built an amazing collection of artwork as well as a community of like minded people. This dark and spooky collection is really something to cool to check out. Honestly, I really loved the art style they went with and I really love the boy scouts route… It made me happy. So go on! Join them!
After exploring Monster Scout we managed to run over and pick up a couple things from Arcana. If you couldn’t tell by the fact that I am always wearing a fez with our great lord Cthulhu, I had to grab their new book necronomicon cover for their Howard Lovecraft comic book. Which mad me as giddy as a school girl meeting Justin Beiber.
After that… things took a turn for the weird. I got a message from a friend who needed some help with their new project; the official predator fan app! Go dowload it!!! So, to say the least, we were taken to a couple places we weren’t planning on going to… like you know behind the line at the Archer signing booth!!!! We managed to get access to some pretty cool places and get some pretty cool swag! (Yes, we are fans of archer… Yes, I got giddy when I saw them… Yes, they then needed to escort me off the property… But I still managed to snag this bad boy.)
Well, after a short amount of time in ‘Comic Con Jail, I did something I never thought I would ever do… I helped Predator get bedazzled at the My Little Pony booth… yup… you read that right. I was in the My Little Pony booth and I didn’t get you at a Twilight Sparkle doll, you know why? You just don’t deserve it that’s why…. Wait, that wasn’t the weird part? It was the fact that we managed to get hair extensions, glitter, and, yes, a unicorn horn on the predator! I will admit it was pretty freaking funny!
Until next time, guys, make sure you are following me both on Twitter and Instagram to get up to date posts! LATER!
