Hearthstone Price Increases for the EU
Blizzard has announced it will be raising the prices of all Hearthstone goods and services on the 22nd of march, stating that they are making these changes for ” local and regional market conditions”. This mean’s things are going to get a little more expensive for Hearthstone Players in Europe.
This easy price comparison chart (courtesy of HearthPwn) shows that prices for hearthstone packs will be taking a small increase, with a price difference of up to over £12 for the 60 pack deal. Unfortunately these changes will also be applying to the cost of adventure wings, although at a more manageable £2 increase.
While it’s understandable for market prices to change over time to reflect the worth of certain currencies, seeing such a large-scale change does raise some questions in regards to the full nature of these changes. The arena ticket barely going up in price does signal that Blizzard may be keeping an eye on what players purchase most, and attempting to gain a small increase in revenue on the backs of those trying to buy cards.
While these prices could be altered before the 22nd of march deadline, it’s highly likely this estimated price will stay as the new standard for the cost of Hearthstone.
