Blizzard Raises World of Warcraft Service Prices in Europe
Similar to the previously announced price raise for Hearthstone Services in Europe, Blizzard has also raised prices of World of Warcraft Microtransactions and real-money purchases.
To quote the official news release , Blizzard stated” We carefully review the prices of our games and services in all currencies on a regular basis, and we occasionally need to make changes based on regional market conditions. Considering this, we’d like to let you know that we’ll soon be adjusting the European prices of some of the optional services available for World of Warcraft.”
The newly provided chart shows off the new prices, with several services receiving a fairly large price increase, with most services such as Faction change or mount bundles receiving a €5 price raise. Once again it is noticeable how the services receiving the biggest price raise are also the ones that are used less frequently, while the ever-popular World of Warcraft Token sees no change in price (although this could be due to the fact that changing the price of the token changes it’s resale value for gold once purchased).
|Item||Current Price – Euro||Price from Apr 5 – Euro||Price from Apr 5 – GBP|
|WoW Token||No change||No change||£17|
|Pet & Mount Bundle||€26||€30||£27|
|Guild Faction Change||€35||€40||£35|
|Character Transfer & Faction Change||€45||€55||£46|
|Guild Transfer & Faction Change||€55||€65||£55|
